SPECIAL RESEARCH METHODS SCHOOL
This year, as a joint event of the 7th international interdisciplinary conference of political research SCOPE: Science of Politics, we are happy to offer the interested public a special online edition of the Research methods school on corruption and corruption control analysis (CORAN) between the 27th and 30th of September 2021.
This methods school aims to raise awareness on the diversity of methodological options available to approach the study of corruption, their specificities and limitations and to understand the logic and suitability of different methods of enquiry.
The curricular content is designed for master, doctoral and postdoctoral students, law enforcement officials, journalists and NGO activists working in the field of anti-corruption.
The event is organised by the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (Portugal), under the auspices of the EPOCA - Corruption and Economic Crisis project, funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia – FCT, Portugal, and ETHICS project, funded by the Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos – FFMS (Portugal), in collaboration with Centre for International Cooperation and Development Studies (IDC @University of Bucharest, Romania).
